Communities Rising Against Deportation and Incarceration

Join PCASC for our 4th Annual Brunch on Sunday, June 23rd. Buy your tickets today!

This year, we’re looking at strategic organizing in the Pacific Northwest around deportations and incarceration.
We’ll have a panel of speakers who are actively engaged in local organizing against the prison-industrial-complex. We are living in an era of record-high deportations, mass incarcerations, and the probability of ‘comprehensive’ immigration reform. PCASC invites you to attend and to participate in a discussion about our current moment and the critical opportunities for resistance here in the northwest.

Panelists will include Cassandra Villanueva, Director of Organizing and Advocacy at the Partnership for Safety and Justice, Ally Ruiz, organizer with the Oregon Dream Activists, journalist and prison divestment activist Crystal Contreras, and others who are working to end harsh sentencing laws, build connections, break isolation, and dissolve the invisibility of prisons and those on the inside.

We will be serving delicious food prepared by our excellent chefs, featuring a variety of options. The menu will accommodate most every dietary restriction and will be the perfect source of fuel for the active program we have in store.

Sponsored by Blossoming Lotus & Organically Grown.
