A Travel Delegation to the Magdalena Region of Colombia with Witness for Peace Northwest
WHAT TO EXPECT:
• UNDERSTAND the link between international corporations and human rights abuses
• INVESTIGATE the impact of free trade agreements on environmental law enforcement and internal displacement
• MEET with unions, community leaders, and environmental and human rights lawyers and defenders
• LEARN how to educate and advocate to U.S. citizens and policy makers
The Cost of this delegation is $1,275 ($150 deposit due April 1st, final payment due April 15th) The cost covers all set-up preparations, meals, lodging, interpreters, and transportation in Colombia. It also covers extensive reading and activists tools and training before and after the delegation. Price does not include airfare to Barranquilla, Colombia.
